This turquoise necklace showcases (almost) the entire spectrum of this popular gemstone: green, light turquoise, dark turquoise, and varying amounts of inclusions in brown, dark gray, or black.
The roughly faceted nuggets measure approximately 5 x 4 cm; the length of the turquoise necklace is approximately 43 cm plus a 5 cm extension chain.
Turquoise stone weight (stab.) approximately 130 ct, silver weight approximately 1.3 g.
The lobster clasp and extension chain are made of rhodiniertes 925 silver.
Rough turquoise stones are porous and often soft and brittle. To ensure safe processing during cutting, polishing, and drilling, the rough stones are impregnated with a colorless stabilizing resin.
