The typical pattern of the Pietersite is effectively supported by the organic shape of the pendant.

Size of the gemstone pendant approx. 6.4 x 2.8 cm.

The freeform cabochon is approx. 50 x 28mm in size, stone weight Pietersite approx. 75ct.

The bezel setting and eyelet (inner diameter 5mm) are made of highly polished, gold-plated silver 925; silver weight 5.95g.
Pietersite, also known as storm stone, is valued in analytical gemstone healing according to Michael Gienger, as the gemstone helps to keep a cool head, process impressions more quickly and overcome conflicts.
Pietersite was first discovered in 1962 by mineral dealer Sidney "Sid" Pieters in Namibia (then South West Africa); the stone is also named after him. The spelling Petersite, Pieterisite or Pietersiet is therefore incorrect.

Marco Schreier Buch Lapis Vitalis

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.

Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered. With the establishment of our office in Bali, Indonesia in 2001 and shortly afterwards our office and company in Hong Kong, I created the basis for integrating many of my favorites such as special crystals, specially cut, rare gemstones, free-form cabochons, beads and pearls into my own jewelry.

Chili Jewels® is our professional brand for the specialist trade with low wholesale prices and outstanding offers from our own production of silver jewelry, stone jewelry, necklaces and bracelets with real stones.
