This expressive ring made from gold-plated 925 silver features an unusual cabochon made from fossilized coral material with a diameter of 20 mm. The stone is set in a classic bezel setting, which accentuates the natural structure of the fossilized coral particularly well.
The material used is fossil coral - i.e. coral skeleton mineralized over long geological periods. It is not protected living coral, but fossil material. The fine cavities and structures of the former coral colony are characteristic and give the stone its unmistakable appearance.
Particularly attractive are the natural shades of pink to salmon, which in combination with the small druzy cavities create a lively and decorative surface. This gives each stone an individual look and a unique pattern.
