Modern design ring in size 63 (20) made of 925 silver, highly polished and rhodiniert, with a halved ammonite in a bezel setting.
The ammonite measures approx. 21 × 18 mm and shows its natural fossil structure. The ring measures approx. 23 × 23 mm.
Stone weight approx. 12 ct, silver weight approx. 4.37 g.
Geological age of these fossils: Lower Devonian to Cretaceous
Dating: approx. 100 million years
Localities of the fossils: Ambarimaninga, northwest Madagascar
The fossilized ammonite was sawn open and polished by hand. The chambers are clearly visible and filled with crystallized minerals.

Hello! My name is Marco Schreier, I am the stone-loving founder of the Mineralienhandlung GmbH of the same name. My career in the field of gemstones, precious stones, pearls and designer jewelry only began relatively late.
Originally, my attention was focused on collector's minerals, then on polished stone products such as tumbled stones, etc. Later, drilled stones were added, which, worn on a leather strap, were the first jewelry we offered.
