This expressive ring made of rhodiniert 925 silver features an extraordinary cabochon of petrified coral with a diameter of 20 mm. The classic bezel setting emphasizes the natural structure of the fossil material and at the same time ensures that the stone is held securely in place.
The material used is fossil coral - i.e. coral skeleton mineralized over millions of years. It is not a protected living coral species, but fossil material. Characteristic of this special variety are the delicate shades of pink to salmon and the fine druzy cavities, which give the surface a lively, crystalline structure.
These natural structures create an unusual gemstone that is rarely used in jewelry and clearly stands out from classic gemstones. Each cabochon shows individual patterns, color gradients and cavities.
