These elegant drop earrings featuring green Nephrite jade combine a clean, modern design with the natural beauty of the gemstone. Each earring is centered around a 13 x 13 mm cushion-cut Nephrite cabochon. The cushion shape is square or angular with gently rounded corners, beautifully highlighting the color and natural veining of the nephrite jade across a generous stone surface.
The nephrite cabochons are set in bezels made of high-gloss polished, rhodiniertes 925 silver. The cool, lustrous silver creates an attractive contrast to the green of the nephrite. With a total length of approximately 29 mm, the earrings are clearly visible yet remain pleasantly versatile for pairing with various outfits.
An attractive nephrite earring for the collections of jewelers, goldsmiths, jewelry stores, and gemstone retailers.
Cut and set at our facilities in Indonesia.

Nephrite jade from Aceh on Sumatra
The rough stone for these earrings comes from Aceh in the north of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. In this remote region, natural Nephrite boulders are found in areas such as the vicinity of the Dare River. Individual raw blocks can weigh between one and two metric tons.
Since many sites are barely accessible by vehicle, large blocks are sometimes broken up by hand right on site. Smaller pieces are carried through the rugged terrain and then transported further by motorcycle. Its unique origin in the pristine landscape of Aceh and the fact that it is mined by hand make this nephrite jade a gemstone with an extraordinary history.
