Smooth Stones Chalcedony red-brown (flesh chalcedony)

The Smooth Stones made of red-brown chalcedony are about 3 - 4cm in size and with a thickness of 1cm well suited to be used, for example, in a stone healing gemstone overlay.

In the packaging unit with 0.5kg you get about 28 - 32 chalcedony stones.

The terms "Calchedon" and "Carchedon" are first mentioned by Pliny the Elder in his Latin Naturalis Historia in the 1st century AD. Which stones have been described here, however, cannot be clearly identified on the basis of the descriptions. Over "intermediate stages" like Calcedon, Calzedon, Chalzedon or Kalcedon the name changed to the today common Chalcedon.
