The gemstone malas consist of 46 Rhodochrosite beads, 24 Rock Crystal beads (both 6 mm in diameter), 38 rudraksha seeds, and are carefully hand-knotted with thread that matches the color of the Rhodochrosite.
Attached to the back of the mala is a pendant featuring the Om symbol and a chili pepper (all made of 925 silver).
The Rhodochrosite and Rock Crystal prayer beads are 86 cm long; the tassel is an additional 8 cm long.
Rock Crystal is used in modern crystal healing to promote clarity and neutrality; the mineral enhances perception and brings clarity to thought, making it ideal for mala beads. The Rock Crystal is perfectly complemented by the pink Rhodochrosite; this mineral symbolizes activity, cheerfulness, and dynamism.
Rudraksha beads are seeds traditionally dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva and are worn for protection and as a source of inspiration. Rudraksha beads, as natural-looking jewelry, are widely used in India and Nepal and are valued much like gemstones.

Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749–1817) initially named rhodochrosite “manganite,” taking into account its chemical composition and high Cleavability. In 1813, Friedrich Hausmann (1782–1859) gave Rhodochrosite its current name, “Rhodochrosite.” This name is derived from the ancient Greek words “rhodo” (rose) and “chrosit” (color). Spellings such as Rhodhocrosite, Rhodochosit, Rhodocrosite, Rodhocrhosite, Rodochrosith, or Rodocrosit are therefore incorrect. Nowadays, terms such as “Inkaspat,” “Inkarose,” “Himbeerspat,” “Rosenspat,” and “Manganspat” are considered obsolete for Rhodochrosite.
