This flat with 16 zeolite / apophyllite crystals weighs approx. 0.63 kg. The size of the individual specimens is between approx. 3.5 - 5.5cm.
The specimens come from the well known locality near Poona in India.
Green apopyllite strengthens the themes of liberation and sincerity; in difficult situations, the mineral helps to discover light at the end of the tunnel.
The name Apophyllite derives from the Greek word "apophyllon" (to flake), as the mineral breaks into flakes in a hot flame. Meanwhile little used synonyms are fish eye stone, ichthyophthalm as well as xylochlor.
